This documentary about Helmut Newton is really lovely to watch. For lots of reasons. It has humanity, sex, vision, money and above all, a love of life and fun that very few people take ownership of. He had no regrets of the usual sort. It was all kind of ridiculous to him. And very, very serious.

Larry Mannequin from Last Night's Party creates a narrative that is surprisingly compelling. It's so self aware, hilarious, sexy, conceited, fashion hating/loving and directed that it's a pleasure to watch. It's witty and crass and completely unreasonable.

This American Life has a brilliant show about where all our stuff comes from. It starts with the question, "who makes Apple products?" It's a tough look at the people who make the things we use every day and makes the point that EVERYTHING we use is hand made. Because people are cheap and infinite in some places, but thankfully even that changes with time.

This video was done for Victoria Beckham's Denim Collection by Quentin Jones. It's remarkably stylish and inventive. I think you'll enjoy this, I do.
