The Future of Learning
On the day we will be exploring the Future of Learning. How do we learn better, how are our brain makeup and attention spans changing, and how do we build the types of analytical muscle that we need to thrive in an age where information is available at a fingertip or voice command?
We are living longer, changing careers often, and living in a more connected world with education on demand - how does this impact the way we learn, how we learn and what we want to learn?
As the lead consultant for leadership training at the digital think tank Doteveryone, Alex has been busy developing a new facilitation model to deliver a programme of responsible technology training to 75 charity leaders and social enterprise leaders across the UK.
Alex will be co-facilitating the seminars all through March 2019.
Interact London 2018 is a conference for UX & Design Leaders at The British Museum. Ivan will be giving a talk about the work he does at what3words designing user experiences that work across the world, in multiple languages, in analog and digital formats. It should be a fun dive into a great journey.
Executive coach Alex Mecklenburg @petite_a will be talking about her pet hate: how most organisations are fascinated with ‘fixing’ things. Fixers get airtime and budget. But hardly anybody wants to be known as a ‘Maintainer’ and maintenance budgets are notoriously tight.
Ivan will be a part of a panel discussion on the subject of Creative Excellence. Joined by fellow Black Pencil judges, he'll be speaking about why work was awarded, what makes creative excellence, and how we can look to creative excellence for inspiration.
