Alex Mecklenburg

Alex is co-founder of Truth & Spectacle and an experienced, provocative business coach, working with leadership teams, CEOs and boards of organisations who are looking to break through their own business bubble.

She has built a wonderful career by solving business problems with creativity and continuous organisational prototyping.

Alex is also an associate at the Digital Think Tank Doteveryone, a fellow of the RSA, and storyteller in residence at SIX, the Global Social Innovation Exchange.

In her time as Global Brand Director and Business Director, and Global Digital Lead for Unilever she delivered seminal work like Dirt is Good.

She has since worked with a variety of creative agencies and non profit organisations helping them shape new business models and creative structures to deliver innovative products and services.


Ivan Pols
Creative Business Partner

Ivan co-founded Truth & Spectacle because he believes creativity in business is more necessary and powerful than ever.

Ivan has collected major international awards in almost every creative discipline and his work has appeared in TEDtalks, textbooks and spoof videos.

He’s also the Creative Director of what3words, a company that’s making it easier for everyone to talk about everywhere. He’s helped them build a world class in-house marketing team and experimentation culture.

His work with scale ups and legacy organisations has given him first hand experience in finding the truth and using it to deliver better customer experiences, innovative products and communication campaigns.

As a Worldwide Creative Director at Ogilvy and adam&eveDDB, Ivan lead international creative and production teams for Dove, Unilever and Philips, creating award winning integrated campaigns and products for over 70 countries.

Our work has won international creative and strategy awards.

We work with specialists who come from many disciplines; design strategy and behavioural insights, finance and IP, digitisation, research and recruitment.
